Reeperbahn Festival, Hamburg

16-19 September 2020

The four-day Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg has been running since 2006. With its numerous fringe events, it has since then morphed into an important music professionals' meeting point.

FONDATION SUISA and Swiss Music Export have been offering Swiss Music a stage for business, contacts and show cases at the Reeperbahn Festival for years. On the Swiss Day (always on a Friday), the spotlight is focussed on the Swiss creative music business during the international music festival in Hamburg.

SWISS MUSIC at Reeperbahn Festival 2019

18-21 September, Hamburg (DE)

Reeperbahn Festival’s Friday belonged once more to Switzerland. The ambience was great, the venues crowded and the air was filled with music from a total of 11 Swiss live acts… and a bit of raclette cheese smell.

Whether the Swiss Contact Lounge in the morning, the Swiss Business Mixer in the afternoon or the showcase event «A Taste Of Swiss Music» in the evening – 20 September was once again turned into the inoffical Swiss day at the Reeperbahn Festival.

These Swiss bands performed live in 2019:
AYU, Benjamin Amaru, Camilla Sparksss, Dagobert, Ella Soto, Ikan Hyu, La Colère, Linda Vogel, Monumental Men, Priya Ragu, The Gardener & The Tree.

The Swiss presence in Hamburg was a cooperation between Swiss Music Export, FONDATION SUISA, FCMA and Stadt Zürich Kultur with the kind participation of the Swiss Embassy in Berlin.
